Privacy Policy
Sillon turns your voice notes into living briefs, one per subject. This page explains precisely which data we process, why, where it goes, and how you stay in control — including deleting your account entirely, at any time, from the app.
1. Who we are
Sillon (“we”) publishes the Sillon mobile app and the service that runs it. For any question about your data: contact@sillon.eu.
2. Data we process
- Identity (Sign in with Apple) — an anonymous Apple identifier and, if you choose to share it, your email address. We never receive your Apple password.
- Your audio recordings — the voice notes you capture, for the time it takes to process them.
- Transcripts — the text produced from your voice notes, for the time it takes to process them.
- Your briefs — the subjects, syntheses and logs the app builds from your captures (the content you create).
- Optional connections — if you connect your own git repository (“BYO”), we store the access credential encrypted; if you connect Notion, we store the access token encrypted. These secrets are never exposed by our API.
- Technical data — session tokens (stored hashed) to keep you signed in.
We do not collect your location, your contacts, or advertising identifiers. No advertising tracking, no third-party trackers.
3. What this data is used for
Only to run the service: transcribe your voice notes, sort them by subject, and merge each capture into the right brief. We do not use your data for advertising purposes and we do not sell it.
4. Minimisation
By design, your audio and its transcript are deleted once the capture has been triaged (applied or discarded). Only the content of your briefs — which you own — is kept in your vault.
5. Who the data is shared with (processors)
To provide the service, some data passes through providers, each for a specific function:
- Apple — “Sign in with Apple” authentication.
- Mistral AI (European Union) — audio transcription and text merging.
- Anthropic — text merging (depending on the merge configuration in use).
- Notion — only if you connect your Notion workspace (mirror of your briefs).
- Railway — server hosting.
- Zoho (European Union data centre) — hosting of the contact@sillon.eu mailbox, through which your requests pass.
- Your git host (e.g. GitHub) — only if you connect your own repository.
Your voice notes and transcripts are sent to the AI models (Mistral, Anthropic) for the time of the processing, then deleted on our side as stated in point 4.
6. Retention
The content of your briefs is kept for as long as your account exists. If your subscription stops, your briefs stay readable and exportable; a vault we host is kept 6 months after the end of the last subscription, then deleted after 30 days of notice shown in the app (see point 8 of the terms of service). If you use your own git repository, we never delete anything there. When you delete your account, everything is erased (see point 8). Audio and transcripts, for their part, are deleted as soon as the capture is triaged.
7. Security
Exchanges go over HTTPS. Sensitive secrets (Notion token, BYO git credential) are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) and are never returned in clear text. Session tokens are only stored hashed.
8. Your rights & account deletion
Under the GDPR, you have a right of access, rectification, erasure, portability and objection. In practice:
- Deletion — from the app: Settings → Account → Delete my account. This action is permanent and erases your identity, your captures, your audio, your managed vault, and your Notion connection. If you use Sign in with Apple, we also revoke the associated Apple tokens.
- Portability — your vault is a git repository in markdown: its content belongs to you and stays readable outside Sillon.

9. Minors
Sillon is not intended for children and does not knowingly collect data about them.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top of the page indicates the last revision; significant changes will be announced in the app or by email.
